Sensors need directional adjustability to face ambient daylight

Although the sockets are very light sensitive, heir function depends on which direction each socket faces once installed (toward or away from the intended light source - the sun). The result is that multiple sockets switch on and off at different times instead of all at once. Even on cloudy days, they turn the lights on well before dark depending upon which direction the sensor faces. It seems impossible to thread the sockets so that the light sensor faces outwardly to accurately measure and respond to ambient daylight. A possible solution could be to mount the light sensor on a swiveling ring to allow the sensor to be aimed in any direction to best effect. This is a problem I hadn’t anticipated but have surely experienced and needs to be addressed.

If the positions of the photocell sensors are different, it may result in varying levels of perceived brightness, leading to some delays in turning on or off. You can take a look at the HSLS04G light sockets. The photocell sensor of this light socket can rotate 360 degrees, allowing for adjustable positioning.
