Installed this transformer with Wi-Fi two days ago and it is working great. The RESET button is a key part of the setup and the Dewenwils instructions fail to tell you to use an object (I used a pen retracted) to depress the button so that it activates. Using my finger didn't work, but thankfully there was a very helpful review that pointed this out. Once I used the pen to press the reset button, I connected it to Wi-Fi in a couple minutes. The app to control it is fairly simple, but know that Dewenwils uses .Open for On, and Closed for Off. Better directions works have saved me some research and headaches.

Five years ago (at our last house) I installed a pile of LED landscaping lights and was reminded that when you use a 12 AC (instead of DC) power supply, you don't have the voltage drop-off issues with long and/or complex runs. I bought this unit because it's an AC transformer, it has 120 watts of power (allowing me to use a pile of the new low-wattage lights), and because it's simple to set up.Nice unit. I use the "5" setting-- it powers on at dusk, and shuts off five hours later. Come late Spring I will change it to a 3 most likely. But I do like the unit-- it's very well made, and it's very simple and easy to use, with instructions printed right on the side of the box.
