I found it easy to wire in, but if you are not familiar with electricity. Hire someone. Worked well, I have it hooked up to an LED pool light.

Works great. Automated my pool with a new pentar intellell salt system when my old salt system died. Was able to take the new light transfer our of the case and mount inside the new pentair box. Only have 1 box instead of 4 on the wall now.

This transformer works exactly like it should. Very easy to install and wire with basic wiring knowledge. I also used a photocell so it only turns on at night!

I bought the wall mounted controller and shorter bulb base. I have to say…I love this wireless light socket. It couldn’t have been easier to use. It looks neat and sleek.

***UPDATE 12/2025***AFTER 4 YEARS this transformer still running strong every night. If there was a product worthy of five stars, this is definitely it! I also added the electronic item to the soil. It comes on at dusk and goes off at dawn to help save a little bit on the electric bill every month.2021 Review:After looking around for a while, I settled on this brand. Had previously purchased a timer made by them for my water heater and it worked well. This replaced a 10+ yr old Malibu 900w power supply as the transformer was delaminating and I got a buzz and thud from the inrush current when it turned on. I upgraded all of my outdoor lighting to LED and have a MUCH lower load, around 150w now days. I added the photocell so I don't have to mess around with a timer when DST kicks in. It worked as it should and the higher voltages are nice for longer runs. I plan to add a run to the back of my house that is about 75ft and the 15v will come in handy for cable loss.I only rated it as 4 stars for now until it has been in service for a while, but first impressions are it is well build, sturdy housing and fits my needs to run 10-10w floods and 9-4w path lights with ease.*******7/2021 Update*******Upgraded to 5 stars as I figured if it kept working after 6 most, it should last. No issues, got the optional electric eye, comes on and off when it should and no more adjusting timers due to shorter or longer days!

At 200W, this transformer won't power a large system of low voltage lights, but it should do for my front yard plan. The ground is still frozen, so too early to assemble the unit, but it's very heavy, appears adequately constructed, and has a dawn-to-dusk sensor that I plan to use.

Works well, check your lines if you get an overload message in the app or on the system. I have 3 separate zones or lines and one of them it appears some critters were chewing through, and my system stopped working.
